Marvel 2020 relaunch
Three new comic book series were unveiled at New York Comic Con on Friday.
2020 is a year of new beginnings for some of Marvel Entertainment’s most iconic characters, with the company announcing relaunches for the comic book adventures of Thor, Iron Man and the Guardians of the Galaxy during its “Marvel Comics: Next Big Thing” panel at New York Comic Con on Friday afternoon.
Following the completion of writer Jason Aaron’s long-running Thor storyline with the final issue of King Thor this December, fan-favorite Venom writer Donny Cates and Deadpool artist Nic Klein will launch a new series, titled simply Thor, as a new danger threatens Asgard once again. But just what the Black Storm is — and why the God of Thunder will be powerless to stop it — will remain a secret for the next few months.
